Ausstellung zur I.G. Farben in Berlin
Vom 21. April bis zum 7. Mai 2026 präsentieren das Bayer Archiv und die Finkelstein Stiftung im Foyer des Hauptgebäudes (S101, 2. OG) die Ausstellung: „Die I.G. Farben – wirtschaftliche Absicherung, Zusammenarbeit mit dem NS-Regime, schwierige Erinnerung – Dokumente aus dem Bayer Archiv“.
100 Jahre nach der Gründung der I.G. Farben werfen wir mit dieser Ausstellung einen Blick in das Bayer Archiv. Ausgewählte Quellen zeichnen schlaglichtartig die Entwicklung der I.G. Farben nach: Von dem Zusammenschluss im Dezember 1925, über die wachsende Nähe zum NS-Regime ab 1933 und den Bau eines Chemiewerkes bei Auschwitz bis hin zum I.G. Farben Prozess und der Nachkriegsgeschichte von Bayer.
Alle Interessierten sind herzlich zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung am 21. April um 10.30 Uhr eingeladen und können gerne an einer der angebotenen Führungen von Thore Grimm (Bayer Archiv) teilnehmen.

100 years after the founding of I.G. Farben, this exhibition takes a look at the Bayer Archive. Selected sources highlight the development of I.G. Farben: from its merger in December 1925, through its growing proximity to the Nazi regime from 1933 onwards and the construction of a chemical plant near Auschwitz, to the I.G. Farben trial and Bayer's post-war history.
All interested parties are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition on April 21 at 10:30 a.m. and are welcome to take part in one of the guided tours offered by Thore Grimm (Bayer Archive).
